Single Gem Faceting Machine
Rotating flat lap used to create flat surfaces on a stone, usualyl in a highly symmetrical pattern. Faceter rests on a height adjustable table. Distance between lap and table is easy adjusted by eccentric movement of the table. After faceting polished to a mirror-like finish.
Double Gem Faceting Machine (Dual Axle)
Could use both faceting and polishing laps at the same time. First facet to highly symmetrical pattern and then polished to a mirror-like finish. Faceter rests on a height adjustable table. Distance between lap and table is easy adjusted by eccentric movement of the table.
Gem Preforming and Sawing Machine
Starting from sawing to sanding of a gem stone performed by this combo machine. Required a circular sawing blade and different preforming wheels with diamond grit on the outer edge for each step. Gemstones are directly hold to the wheel by hand without any tool.
Faceter does not connect to the machine and may quickly be lifted off the table for inspect the progress of work. Faceting methodology consists of cutting appropriate angles on the top and bottom of a gem stone. The cutting angle is adjusted vertically and rotationally via protractor and index gear.
Dop sticks use to hold the stone in to faceter. Adhesive wax, epoxy, or glue used to fix the stone in to dop stick. Comes with different sizes and with steel or brass material. Water resistant holder use to keep the dop sticks with or without stones. Leg balancer use to balance the faceter.
This precision hardened polished steel hand roller used to recharges diamond powder on polishing laps adding about 12 drops of extender fluid (Olive Oil) on diamond powder and evenly spread over the surface of the lap. Using the roller, embed the diamond particles into the surface of the lap.
